Help is on the Way!
What if I said to you that the pandemic was going to last 400 years, but help is on the way. Every day in the news you saw an article that said we were working on a vaccine and it is coming.
Forward 400 years. We are tired of waiting on the vaccine. In reality, we have decided it is never going to happen and we have to live with the way things are. All of a sudden in the news we hear, “The vaccine is here. It’s ready and all you have to do is go get it.” You have become so accustomed to living life without it and may I add so has everyone. It really doesn’t matter anymore. If I get the vaccine, will my life really be any better? What difference does it make?
Stop!! Please, Dale, don’t even say that. That would be terrible. Agreed, but let me tell you a true story that is just like this.
God, in His mercy, made a plan to save us from this chaotic life. From the beginning of time when we decided that we could make our own decisions, God planned for Jesus to come to bring us back to the life God planned from the beginning. One of the last prophets (someone who told about God’s plan) Malachi, said Jesus was coming. Then for four hundred years, there was no news about this.
Then a man named John, came, and began to tell everyone that the one who would save us from this crazy life was here. Guess what happened? The people had been living life without (the vaccine) for so long that they ignored what John had to say. The fix for the problem was here and they didn’t seem to care.
Are you confused about what the answer is regarding this pandemic? Information, misinformation, truth, lies, it all comes in the same package and it’s hard if not almost impossible to know what the real truth is. So, what is the answer?
The answer is not a vaccine. The answer is not a political party. The answer is not figure it out for yourself. The answer is in a person. Jesus came and lived the answer. Until we understand His life and why He came, we will not be able to fix the issue.
I know you are tired. I know we are becoming used to living this way, even if it is not what we want. You are probably saying, “It is what it is!” Well maybe for right now that is true, but I don’t want to live in frustration and allow circumstances to make my decisions. I want to live the life I was meant to live. Yes, I might have to modify things because of circumstances, but that doesn’t mean circumstances become my life.
God has a plan for us. Pandemics, elections, turmoil, personal issues, do not stop His plan. He is not controlled by any of this. Want things to change? Choose who is making plans for you. You have tried many things, but have you allowed Jesus to guide you in His plans for you?
Not sure what that means? I would love to talk to you about it. Give me a call or an email.
